Simr power analysis
Webb28 jan. 2024 · I have about 2000 observations per each group (variable number of observations per user). I'd like to estimate the required sample size per group required to have 80% Power to detect an effect size of 0.1. I'd like to extend the power analysis to atleast 20000 observations per group to see how n observations impacts power. Webb6 maj 2024 · Abstract: Summary The r package simr allows users to calculate power for generalized linear mixed models from the lme4 package. The power calculations are based on Monte Carlo simulations. It includes tools for (i) running a power analysis for a given model and design; and (ii) calculating power curves to assess trade-offs between power …

Webb8 maj 2024 · Power analysis from scratch. If pilot data is not available, simr can be used to create lme4 objects from scratch as a starting point. This requires more paramters to be specified by the user. Values for these parameters might come from the literature or the user’s own knowledge and experience. Webb25 mars 2024 · This should show up when you load the package, a message like The following object is masked from 'package:simr' would be printed in the terminal. To solve this, either specify simr::extend () when you want to use this function, or change the order in which you load your packages. Hope that helps somehow. Share Improve this answer …
